Chinese Chicken Bites With Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
  1. 1/8 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 1 lb ground chicken
  3. 2 scallions
  4. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  5. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  6. 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  7. 1 cup hot water
  8. Peanut oil
  9. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  10. 1 teaspoon salt
  11. 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  12. 1/2-1 teaspoon sesame oil
  13. 1 tablespoon water
  14. 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  15. 1/2 cup flour
  16. 4 scallions
  17. 1 tablespoon flour
Instructions
  1. Combine ingredients-chicken through pepper- and mix well.
  2. Pour peanut oil in a heavy skillet. Heat to medium high heat.
  3. Drop chicken mixture by teaspoonfuls into hot oil.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low and fry the chicken bites for 5 to 6 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
  5. In a small saucepan, saute scallions in the sesame oil for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until flavors are incorporated.
  7. Simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle in the flour and stir well. Adjust seasonings to taste. If the mixture is too thick, add a little hot water to make desired consistency.
