Chocolate-Almond Biscotti

Ingredients
  1. 3/4 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 1/3 cup margarine
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. 2 teaspoons baking soda
  6. 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  7. 1 1/2 cups flour
  8. 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  9. 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  10. 1 ounce white dipping chocolate
Instructions
  1. Cream together Sue Bee Honey and margarine.
  2. Beat in eggs and then vanilla.
  3. Mix in baking soda, cocoa and flour until just combined.
  4. Stir in almonds and chocolate chips.
  5. On a foil-lined cookie sheet spoon dough in center to form a 9-by-5-inch loaf.
  6. Bake at 400 F for 18 to 20 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched.
  7. Remove from oven and cool for 15 minutes.
  8. Cut 1/2-inch slices off loaf and lay cut side up on same cookie sheet.
  9. Bake at 300 F for 15 minutes.
  10. Turn oven off, turn over cookies and leave in oven for another 15 minutes.
  11. Drizzle with white chocolate.
Notes
  1. Good to dunk in coffee.
