Favorite Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients
  1. 1/3 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 1/4 cup margarine
  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. 2-1/2 cups milk
  5. 8 eggs
  6. 1 cup ham
  7. 2 cups Cheddar cheese
  8. 1 loaf French bread
  9. 1 onion
  10. 1 bell pepper
  11. 1/2 lb asparagus
  12. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
  1. In medium skillet, sautee asparagus, pepper and onion in margarine for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. In a greased 9x13-inch pan, layer bread cubes, ham, 1 cup of the cheese and sauteed vegetables.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat together remaining ingredients (except for cheese) until well mixed.
  4. Pour mixture evenly over layers and sprinkle with remaining cup of cheese.
  5. Refrigerate overnight.
  6. Bake uncovered at 350 F for 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
Notes
  1. Broccoli may be substituted for the asparagus.
  2. Your favorite cheese may be substituted for the Cheddar.
