Our Favorite Honey Wheat Bread

Ingredients
  1. 1/4 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  3. 2 cups warm water
  4. 1/4 cup soft butter
  5. 1/8 cup molasses
  6. 1 teaspoon salt
  7. 3 cups whole wheat flour
  8. 2 cups white flour
Instructions
  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Combine Sue Bee Honey, butter, molasses and salt.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add yeast mixture.
  5. Gradually add flour.
  6. Turn onto floured surface and knead until smooth.
  7. Place in greased bowl and let rise until double.
  8. Punch down.
  9. Let dough rest a few minutes.
  10. Shape into 2 loaves.
  11. Place in greased bread pans.
  12. Let rise about 1 hour.
  13. Bake at 375 F for 35-40 minutes.
