Greek Seasoning
  1. 1 tablespoon oregano
  2. 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  3. 1/2 teaspoon lemon peel
  4. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  5. 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
Bread
  1. 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 2 1/2-3 cups flour
  3. 2 ounces Mediterranean feta cheese with olives
  4. 1 teaspoon Greek seasoning
  5. 2 teaspoon rosemary
  6. 6 tablespoons chopped roasted red bell pepper
  7. 1 tablespoon garlic
  8. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  9. 3/4 cup water
  10. 1 teaspoon salt
  11. 1 package active yeast
  12. 2 tablespoons cornmeal
Seasoning
  1. Mix ingredients well.
  2. You will use 1 teaspoon of the seasoning for the bread.
  3. Place remaining in a bag for later use.
Bread
  1. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, undissolved yeast and salt.
  2. Heat 1/4 cup of Sue Bee Honey and oil until very warm.
  3. Stir into dry ingredients.
  4. Stir in garlic, Greek seasoning and feta cheese.
  5. Knead for 6-8 minutes.
  6. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  7. Divide into three sections and roll into balls.
  8. Cover each loaf with roasted red pepper and rosemary, then drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over the 3 loaves.
  9. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cornmeal onto large cookie sheet.
  10. Place the three loaves on the cookie sheet and let rise until doubled.
  11. Bake at 350 F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
