Honey Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients
  1. 1/3 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  3. 1 cup margarine
  4. 1 egg
  5. 2 1/4 cups flour
  6. 2 tablespoons ground ginger
  7. 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  8. 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. In large bowl, cream brown sugar and margarine.
  2. Beat in Sue Bee Honey and egg.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to margarine mixture while beating.
  4. Chill several hours to overnight.
  5. Preheat oven to 325 F.
  6. Line cookie sheets with waxed paper.
  7. Roll 1/3 of chilled dough at a time, 1/4-inch thick on lightly-floured surface.
  8. (Keep remaining dough refrigerated until ready to roll.)
  9. Cut rolled out dough with cookie cutters.
  10. Place on cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes.
  11. Let cool slightly before placing on wire rack.
  12. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost and decorate.
