Ingredients
  1. 1/3 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 1 (1/4 ounce) package active dry yeast
  3. 1/4 cup warm water
  4. 1/4 cup butter
  5. 1 cup boiling water
  6. 2 eggs
  7. 1 cup quick-cooking oat
  8. 1 teaspoon salt
  9. 3 1/2 cups flour
Instructions
  1. In lg. mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. In another bowl, combine the Sue Bee Honey, butter and boiling water. Stir until butter is melted.
  3. Cool until warm.
  4. Add the eggs, oats, salt, butter mixture and 2 cups flour to the yeast mixture; beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough; dough will be slightly sticky.
  6. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
  7. Punch down dough.
  8. Transfer to a greased 1-1/2 quart round baking dish.
  9. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled again, about 30 minutes.
  10. Uncover and bake at 375 F for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Cool 10 minutes.
  12. Remove from baking dish and cool on wire rack.
