Ingredients
  1. 2/3 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 1 cup milk
  3. 1/2 cup toasted wheat germ
  4. 1 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 tablespoon baking powder
  6. 1 cup whole wheat flour
  7. 1 1/2 cups white flour
  8. 2 eggs
  9. 1/4 cup butter
  10. 1 cup walnut halves
Instructions
  1. Heat milk and Sue Bee Honey together until honey is dissolved, then stir in the butter.
  2. When the milk-butter mixture is somewhat cooled, beat in the eggs.
  3. Sift together the flour through salt; add wheat germ.
  4. Gradually stir the dry mixture into the liquid.
  5. Stir in nuts, if desired.
  6. Turn into 9x5" loaf pan.
  7. Bake at 325 F 1 hour.
