Ingredients
  1. 1/4 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. cooking spray
  3. 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  4. 3 tablespoons water
  5. 1/3 cup orange juice
  6. 2/3 cup sugar
  7. syrup
  8. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  10. 3 tablespoons orange juice
  11. 1 1/2 cups chopped hazelnuts
  12. 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  13. 1/2 cup matzo meal
  14. 2 large eggs
  15. 3 large egg whites
  16. 2 tablespoons oil
  17. 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  18. 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  19. 1 dash cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F; spray a round cake pan with cooking spray.
  2. Add sugars, oil, eggs and egg whites to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Beat at medium until blended.
  4. Stir in matzoh cake meal and next 5 ingredients and beat until well blended.
  5. Pour into cake pan and bake for 35 minutes.
  6. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  7. Combine syrup ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  8. Lower to simmer and cook 25 minutes until thick.
  9. Cool completely.
  10. Pierce top of cake with a fork, pour syrup on top.
  11. Cover and chill overnight.
