Strawberry Angel Food Cake
Ingredients

- 1/4 cup Sue Bee® honey®
- 1 package angel food cake mix
- 1 1/4 cups strawberry-flavored soft drink
- Glaze Ingredients
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 2 to 4 tablespoons strawberry-flavored soft drink
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 to 4 drops red food coloring
Directions
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions, except substitute strawberry soft drink and Sue Bee® honey for the water.
- Bake as directed.
- Cool and remove from pan.
- Top with Strawberry Glaze (below), allowing some to drizzle down sides.
- Serve with fresh strawberries that have been sweetened with 1/4 cup of Sue Bee® honey per pint.
Glaze instructions
- Melting margarine in microwave.
- Blend in powdered sugar.
- Stir in soft drink 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Stir in food coloring.
